Aluminum oxide is a durable grain that is recommended by professionals for general sanding a wide variety of surfaces.

Gator Grit 25 Count 9" x 11" 100 Grit Medium General Purpose Sandpaper. The 100 grit medium sandpaper is a multi-purpose sandpaper allowing you to complete all your sanding needs on wood, metal, drywall, fiberglass, or painted surfaces. The multi-purpose sandpaper can be used on both hand and machine sanders. If using an orbital sander, the sandpaper can be cut into a 1/2 sheet, 1/3 sheet, or 1/4 sheet to fit the sander.
- Great for general purpose sanding on a wide variety of materials including wood, paint, metal, fiberglass, and plastic
- Medium grit is best for moderate stock and paint removal and surface preparation before painting interior and exterior surfaces
- Fine grits are best for light stock removal and bare wood sanding, and surface preparation and light paint scuffing before painting interior surfaces
- Sheets can be cut-to-fit 1/2 sheet, 1/3 sheet, or ¼ sheet sanders
- Resin bonding locks the grain to the paper for longer sanding life
